R190.4 Use of registrants name by another. No person registered with the City as a <br /> contractor shall allow his or her name to be used by another person either for the <br /> purpose of obtaining permits, or for doing business, or other work under the registration. <br /> Every person registered shall provide the Building Commissioner their St. Louis County <br /> license number, expiration date, the business and mailing address, the name under <br /> which such business is conducted, and shall give immediate notice to the Building <br /> Commissioner of any change. <br /> R190.5 Qualifications of contractors and workers. The Building Commissioner shall <br /> not be required to issue a permit unless the contractor and workers are qualified to carry <br /> out the proposed work in accordance with the requirements of this Code. Refusal or <br /> inability to comply with Code requirements on other work shall be considered as <br /> evidence of lack of such qualifications. <br /> (SECTION R191 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR LICENSE) ?! <br /> R191.1 Application for plumbing permit. All contractors applying for permits to <br /> perform plumbing work governed by the scope of this code shall be licensed and <br /> bonded by St. Louis County as a master plumber, and the contractor shall be registered <br /> by the City of University City. <br /> Exceptions: <br /> 1. Work, repairs or installations that are specifically exempt from permit requirements. <br /> 2. Work performed under a homeowner's permit as indicated in Section R105.91. <br /> 3. I nstallation or replacement of domestic water heaters. <br /> 4. The installation, maintenance, extension or repair of processed drain systems, or <br /> piping, drains, drainage systems, or facilities for mechanical manufacturing, industrial <br /> processing refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, sprinkler or sprinkler system <br /> purposes, or parts, materials, devices or appurtenances in connection therewith or for <br /> the utilization or operation thereof, provided, however, final connection of any such <br /> system or line to a water line containing potable water or to a drainage line containing <br /> any form of human waste shall be done by a licensed person as stated herein. <br /> R191.2 Application for plumbing permit for drainlaying. All contractors applying for <br /> permits to perform drainlaying work governed by the scope of this Code shall be <br /> licensed and bonded by St. Louis County as a master drainlayer, and the contractor <br /> shall be registered by the City of University City. <br /> Exceptions: <br /> 1.
