correct the situation leading to suspension. Letters placed in the mail shall be <br /> considered as sent and received. <br /> 190.3.2 Period of revocation. Contractors that fail to make improvement during <br /> suspension shall be revoked indefinitely unless reinstated by the Building <br /> Commissioner. <br /> 190.3.3 Reinstatement. The Building Commissioner shall have the ability to <br /> reinstate a contractor if the contractor can provide sufficient evidence to the <br /> Building Commissioner that the reason for suspension or revocation is no longer <br /> present. <br /> 190.3.4 Appeal of a suspension or revocation. Suspended or revoked <br /> contractors shall have the right to appeal the finding of the Building <br /> Commissioner to the Board of Appeals. The Board of Appeals shall have the <br /> right to affirm the decision of the Building Commissioner or reinstate the <br /> contractor. <br /> 190.4 Use of registrants name by another. No person registered with the City as a <br /> contractor shall allow his or her name to be used by another person either for the <br /> purpose of obtaining permits, or for doing business, or other work under the registration. <br /> Every person registered shall provide the Building Commissioner their St. Louis County <br /> license number, expiration date, the business and mailing address, the name under <br /> which such business is conducted, and shall give immediate notice to the Building <br /> Commissioner of any change. <br /> 190.5 Qualifications of contractors and workers. The Building Commissioner shall <br /> not be required to issue a permit unless the contractor and workers are qualified to carry <br /> out the proposed work in accordance with the requirements of this Code. Refusal or <br /> inability to comply with Code requirements on other work shall be considered as <br /> evidence of lack of such qualifications. <br /> (SECTION 191 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR LICENSE) <br /> 191.1 Application for plumbing permit. All contractors applying for permits to perform <br /> plumbing work governed by the scope of this code shall be licensed and bonded by St. <br /> Louis County as a master plumber, and the contractor shall be registered by the City of <br /> University City. <br /> 191.2 Application for plumbing permit for drainlaying. All contractors applying for <br /> permits to perform drainlaying work governed by the scope of this Code shall be <br /> licensed and bonded by St. Louis County as a master drainlayer, and the contractor <br /> shall be registered by the City of University City. <br /> 191.3 Licensed contractors required to perform plumbing and drainlaying.
