Session 1794 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 16, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, October 16, 2000, Mayor Pro Tern Paul Schoomer called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor Pro Tern, the following members of the <br />Council were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Mayor Joseph L. Adams and Mr. Larry Lieberman. Also present was City <br />Manager Frank Ollendofff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the September 25, 2000 Council meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />On behalf of Mayor Adams, Mayor Pro Tem Schoomer moved the appointment of Ms. <br />Diane Davenport, 784 Yale, to the Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for an <br />unexpired term ending January 1, 2001. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (5 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Road Tracton Bids for purchasing a new road tractor for the Sanitation dept. to haul <br />refuse to the landfill have been received.
