Session 1794 <br />October 16, 2000 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendofff recommends purchasing this tractor from Truck Centers for their low bid of <br />$64,490.00. <br /> <br />#2 - Tennis Court Resurfacin~: Invitations to Bid were sent to five construction companies <br />for proposals to resufface four tennis courts at Heman Park. $14,000 was set aside in the <br />budget for this project. The following bids were received: <br /> <br />McConnell & Associates ................... $10,407.00 <br />St. Louis Paving ........................ $13,470.00 <br />Frazier-Davis .......................... $11,777.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendofff recommends awarding this project to McConnell & Associates for their low <br />bid of $10,407.00. <br /> <br />#3 - Camet for Plannin~ Department: Requests for Quotes were sent to four local carpet <br />companies. The following quotes were received: <br /> <br />Flooring Systems ...................... $10,970.00 <br />Stephens Floor ........................ $13,188.21 <br />Tony Prince 00 ........................ $21,346.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendofff recommends accepting the low bid of $10,970.00 submitted by Flooring <br />Systems. The total renovation project cost of $24,000 is $1,000 over budget. A transfer <br />will therefore be needed. <br /> <br />#4 -Tumout Gear; Quotations have been received to provide 10 sets of turnout coats and <br />pants for the Fire Department. $13,000 was set aside in the budget. Four companies were <br />invited to bid. The quote follows: <br /> <br />Battalion Three ............. $10,230.00 <br /> <br />*Female Business Enterprise <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendofff recommends awarding the pumhase to Battalion Three for their bid of <br />$10,230.00. Battalion Three provided the gear last year and did not increase the price <br />quoted from the previous year. <br /> <br />#5 - Contract Leaf Collection - Invitations to Bid were issued to eight local companies for <br />leaf collection for the Fall of 2000.
