Session 1797 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />November 13, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, November 13, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the <br />Council were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the October 30, 2000 Council meeting minutes. Ms. <br />Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk, Ms. Forsythe, administered the oath of office to Mr. James Schmalz - <br />Board of Appeals. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked Mr. Schmalz for his willingness to serve on this important board, <br />noting that citizen service truly helped the City to function properly. <br /> <br />OLD NEWSBOY BREAKFAST: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer announced that from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November <br />16th, the University City Rotary Club would be sponsoring a benefit breakfast primarily <br />for the survivors of selling Old Newsboy newspapers, but the public is welcome as well. <br />The funds go to the Rotary for distribution to charitable causes and the Old Newsboy <br />Foundation. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (1 ITEM): <br /> <br /> <br />
