Right now, he likes the idea of 15', unless there is a compelling reason for the 10'. Mr. Wagner intends to be able to continue a full discussion on this issue January 8th. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: 1. A bill was introduced by Mr. Sharpe, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, EXTENDING THE TERM OF FRANCHISE WITH TCI CABLE PARTNERS OF ST. LOUIS, L.P. TO JUNE 23, 2001 AND CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8505. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Mr. Munkel and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8505 passed and became Ordinance number 6280. 2. A bill was introduced by Mr. Munkel, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, ON BEHALF OF UNIVERSITY CITY, TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION WHICH PROVIDES THAT THE CITY SHALL RECEIVE GRANT FUNDS FOR THE COSTS TO REPLACE A BRIDGE ON SHAFTESBURY AVENUE EAST OF WILSON AVENUE.
