Session 1797 November 13, 2000 Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoonaer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel. Mr. Wagner and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8501 passed and became Ordinance number 6278. 2. A bill was introduced by Mr. Munkel, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 THEREOF, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, THEREBY AMENDING SAID MAP SO AS T,O CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT 8654 BARBY LANE FROM "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO "HRO" - HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/OFFICE DISTRICT; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8502. 3. A bill was introduced by Ms. Colquitt. entitled: AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING TWO PORTIONS OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF HARRISON AVENUE BETWEEN HAVVTHORNE PLACE AND WAYNE AVENUE IN BELLMONT PLACE SUBDIVISION AND HAWTHORNE TERRACE SUBDIVISION, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS. A bill was introduced by Mr. Schoomer, entitled: AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SHAFTESBURY AVENUE NEAR RAISHER DRIVE IN MONA TERRACE SUBDIVISION, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS. Mr. Rose said, in response to an inquiry by the Mayor that the Green Center will receive a notice to attend the public hearing on this matter. 5
