Session 1800 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />January 8, 2001 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, January 8, 2001, Mayor Pro Tern Paul Schoomer called the <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor Pro Tem, thE! following members <br />of the Council were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. ABSENT: Mayor Joseph Adams was <br />excused. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />No minutes were ready. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Ms. Elizabeth Schiller, 7;_~06 Dartmouth, to <br />the Traffic Commission for an unexpired term ending January 21,2.004. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to Mr. John Solodar to the Board of <br />Adjustment. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Schoomer thanked Mr. Solodar for his willingness to serve on another <br />board for the City, noting that the City depends on volunteers on the boards and <br />commissions to advise the Council on proceeding with City business. Mr. Solodar said <br />that he enjoyed the Plan Commission for six years and is now looking forward to <br />serving on the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (4 ITEMS): <br /> <br /> <br />
