<br />Plan Commission <br />Minutes <br />June 23, 2010 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the EOC Room located at City Hall, 6801 <br />Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on June 23, 2010. The meeting commenced at <br />6:35 pm. <br /> <br />Voting Members PresentMembers Absent <br /> <br />Nova Felton Ben Halpert, Chairperson <br />Paulette Carr Lisa Greening <br />Ben Senturia <br />Deidre Lewis <br />Tom Byrne <br /> <br />Stephen Kraft, Council Member <br /> <br />Staff Present: Andrea Riganti, Acting Director of Community Development; Zach Greatens, <br />Planner <br /> <br />Election of Vice-Chairperson <br /> <br />At the May 26, 2010 Plan Commission meeting, the members agreed to postpone election of a <br />Vice-Chairperson until the June 23, 2010 meeting. With the absence of the Chairperson, election <br />of a Vice-Chairperson was necessary to run the meeting. The members nominated Deidre Lewis <br />as Vice-Chairperson. A motion was made by Mr. Senturia to approve Deidre Lewis as Vice- <br />Chairperson of the Plan Commission. The motion was seconded by Ms. Carr. The motion was <br />passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The Vice-Chairperson stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from <br />the May 26, 2010 meeting. Mr. Senturia moved for approval of the minutes, seconded by Ms. <br />Carr. The motion passed. <br /> <br />Hearing: Minor Subdivision: Final Plat – 6647 and 6651 Washington Avenue <br /> <br />The Vice-Chairperson announced that a hearing was scheduled for Final Plat approval of a <br />Minor Subdivision located at 6647 and 6651 Washington Avenue. <br /> <br />Sarah Stanton, representing Washington University, One Brookings Drive, St. Louis, Missouri <br />63130 the applicant, provided an explanation of the proposed subdivision. The current proposal <br />is to consolidate two lots, 6647 and 6651 Washington Avenue, into one lot. The newly created <br />lot would be approximately 16,557 square feet in area (0.38 acres). The reason for the lot <br />consolidation is to construct a parking lot on the vacant portion of the proposed lot (6651 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
