Below is a copy of <br />the agenda for the meeting. <br /> <br />Please call Sandy Weinberg at 862-6767, ext. 260, and advise her if you will not be attending the <br />meeting. <br />AGENDA FOR THE MEETING <br /> <br /> <br />1.Street Petition for Residential Parking Permit in the 7000 block of Waterman. <br /> <br />The residents of the 7000 block of Waterman Ave presented a petition to implement residential parking <br />permit system. At this time, the restriction could be implemented since the petition complies with all <br />the requirements. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division verified the following: <br />? <br /> <br />There is an average of 9 non residential vehicles parked on the 7000 block of Waterman, near the <br />intersection with Big Bend. <br />? <br /> <br />From the average of 9 non residential vehicles parked near Waterman-Big Bend intersection, 5 <br />vehicles park on the street on a regular basis. <br />? <br /> <br />There is an average of 25 vehicles parked on the 7000 block of Waterman. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division recommends that a “residential parking permit” system be <br />implemented for the 7000 block of Waterman Ave. <br /> <br /> <br />2.No Parking Sign on Manhattan Ave. <br /> <br />Please find attached Traffic Request Form dated June 1, 2004 submitted by Mark S. Mehlman, owner of <br />the new building in the south west corner of Forsyth and Manhattan. He is requesting that the “No <br />Parking Sign” located on the east side of Manhattan Ave. approximately 100 feet south of Forsyth Blvd., <br />be removed. <br /> <br />The affected residents were notified and were invited to attend the July 14, 2004 traffic meeting. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division recommends the removal of the referenced sign. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Four Way stop for Washington-Kingsland Intersection. <br /> <br />Please find attached a Traffic Request Form dated June 23, 2004 submitted by Chris Creighton, resident <br />at 6950 Washington Ave. He is requesting that the intersection at Washington and Kingsland be a <br />“Four Way Stop” instead of a two way stop. <br />1 <br />V:\WP51\Mariela-Projects\Traffic Commission\agenda\2004\Agenda 7-14-04.doc <br /> <br />
