The City Manager reconm~_nded setting a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. November 20, 1989 to consider a propos- al amending t_he Zoning Code by requiring that the unfinished side of fences face the property interior on which they are constructed. The Plan Co~,u~.~ssion approved the proposed amendment on a 4--2 vote; however, the City Manager did not rec~,m~nd approval since enforcement: would be difficult. Conditional Use Amendment - 7500 Delmar Boulevard (#4~. The City Manager con- cuffed in the unanimous rec~,,~ndation f~.om the Plan Cu~ssion that the con- ditional use permit for U. City Automotive be amended to allow an expanded re- pair bay area to the rear of the buildir~, provided a six-foot landscape strip along Hanley is installed, and further provided that the exterior of the new beys match the remainder of the street frontage of the present building.
