At the north end of Ackert Walk, the Centennial Greenway will cross Vernon Road and head west on the north side of Vernon. The street cross section will be modified to obtain adequate <br />space within the right-of-way to accommodate the hybrid trail alignment. Existing street trees should be protected and supplemented to create a continuous shaded and landscaped corridor. <br /> Pedestrian scale lighting is recommended for safety and security, and to enhance the character of the neighborhood.
