A new trail was constructed in Mona Terrace common ground in 2005. The Centennial Greenway will connect to this trail through the common ground between the undeveloped segment of the <br />Shaftesbury right-of-way to Groby Road. Developing the Centennial Greenway should improve the common ground as a passive park and as a naturalized river bank. The existing asphalt <br />trail should be narrowed to 10’ and concrete bands added to protect the asphalt. The existing sidewalk leading to Old Bonhomme should be widened, as a secondary connection to the on-street <br />bicycle route, and to improve the link between Mona <br />Terrace and Kaufman Park and Brittany Woods and Ronald McNair schools. <br /> <br />
