Session 1820 <br />September 19, 2001 <br /> <br />9.08.025 DOMESTIC ASSAULT IN 'THE THIRD DEGREE; CONTAINING A <br />SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Wagner <br />and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8557 passed and became ordinance <br />number 6332. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8558 - AMENDING CHAPTER 9.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE AND DECENCY, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 9.08.200 THEREOF, RELATING TO PORNOGRAPHY, <br />OBSCENITY AND EXPLICIT SEXUAL MATERIAL, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE-' KNOWN AS SAME, AMENDING SECTION <br />SO THAT IT WILL CONFORM WITH STATE LAW; CONTAINING A SAVING <br />CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman noted that he requested the review of this legislation in August of 1999. <br />He knows that the City Attorney has been going over it very carefully in order to avoid <br />conflicts with the Constitution. He will be very happy to call for the enactment of this bill. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call vote <br />was as follows: AYES: Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Wagner, Mr. <br />Lieberman and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none,. Bill number 8558 passed and became <br />ordinance number 6333. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8559 - AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN <br />LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION NAMED SAME, SO AS TO PROHIBIT <br />PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON PORTIONS OF LOOP SOUTH; CONTAINING A <br />SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption.
