The
Auffenberg Bid #2 and the Don Brown bid are for nine new vehicles. The Central
Garage Superintendent recommends purchasing the new vehicles due to the minor
difference in cost of $642.00 per vehicle between the new and used vehicles and also,
the used vehicles can have up to 20,000 miles. I recommend purchasing the new
vehicles from Don Brown Chevrolet for their Iow bid of $59,379.00. Don Brown was
extended the opportunity to bid the new car alternate after Auffenberg chose to do so
voluntarily.

Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the consent calendar. Mr. Sharpe seconded the
motion, which carried unanimously.

AGENDA #2 - 7434 OLIVE SITE PLAN:

A site plan has been reviewed for the interior and exterior development of the market at
7434 Olive. Mr. Sharpe
seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

Mr. Lieberman stated that, in his estimation, that the Vernon store, being that it is
named Pete's Shur Save and is in University City, does not represent the best quality of
commercial that the City could have. Personally, he feels that it would be very
important for that site to be cleaned up and made presentable before he would consider
