Session 1845 <br />July 1, 2002 <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved adoption. Ms. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt <br />and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8595 passed and became Ordinance <br />6367. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8596 - AMENDING CHAPTER 2,68 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO MISCELLANEOUS ADMINISTRATIVE <br />PROVISIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION 2.68.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 2-68.020 FEES <br />FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE," THEREBY AMENDING SAID <br />SECTION SO AS TO INCREASE THE BASE FEE FROM FOUR HUNDRED <br />DOLLARS ($400) TO FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS ($460) AND <br />THE FEE FOR CERTAIN ADDITIONAL SERVICES FROM SEVENTY-FIVE <br />DOLLARS ($75) TO EIGHTY-SIX DOLLARS ($86), AND SO AS TO IMPOSE A <br />FEE OF SEVEN DOLLARS ($7.00) PER MILE FOR EACH TRANSPORT TO A <br />HOSPITAL; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams recommended defeat, due to an amended bill being introduced later. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved defeat. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8597 - PROVIDING FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN CITY <br />OFFICIALS FOR EXPENSES INCURRED BY THEM IN OPERATING THEIR <br />OWN AUTOMOBILES IN TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS FOR THE CITY, <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6315. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Ms. Welsch seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel <br />and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8597 passed and became Ordinance <br />6368. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8598 - AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, <br />BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS <br />DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO <br />AS TO REMOVE THE SUNDAY PARKING PROHIBITION ON THE NORTH <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
