3. Decorative Wall/Fence Requirements for Olive Boulevard, and Side <br />Street(s), if Applicable <br />General Requirements <br />A.: <br />1. The decorative wall shall consist of brick pedestals with cast stone <br />caps, connected by decorative fencing. <br />2. Evergreen shrubs shall be planted adjacent to the fence between brick <br />pedestals. The height and spacing of shrubs shall be installed and <br />maintained so that headlights from vehicles on the parking lot are <br />prevented from shining into the eyes of motorists on Olive and the <br />adjacent side street(s), if applicable. An example of this wall, fence, and <br />shrubs can be found at the Walgreen’s Store at the intersection of Big <br />Bend and Clayton Road, in Clayton, Missouri. See the attached photo of <br />that location. <br />Pedestal Requirements <br />B. (Attachment): <br />spacing <br />1. The pedestals shall be at a of approximately 20 feet. <br />brick <br />2. The shall be field brick, and the color shall be Red Colonial, to <br />match the brickwork at the entrance monument at the northwest corner of <br />Skinker and Olive Blvd. Other brick colors may be considered by the <br />Director of Public Works. <br />Fence <br />C.: fence shall be decorative: black, or an alternate color if approved <br />by the Director of Public Works. <br />Installation Expense, Maintenance and Operation. <br />D. The installation of <br />decorative wall and fence shall be at the expense of the developer.
