BILL 8970 <br />— An ordinance amending Chapter 8.12 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to garbage collection and delinquent bills-trash collection stopped, and <br />enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 8.12.220 delinquent bills- <br />trash collection stopped”, thereby amending said section so as to establish new <br />regulations on the termination of city refuse collection service; containing savings and <br /> <br />severability clauses, and providing a penalty. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci moved for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked City Manager if there were any provisions in place for various cases <br />presented to the City for inability to pay. The City Manager said it will be done in districts <br />therefore, to begin with, it could be monitored on a smaller region. BILL 8971 <br />— An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to parking restrictions for specific streets, by repealing Section 10.44.010 <br />thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu <br />thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 parking prohibited on certain <br />streets at all times,” thereby amending said section so as to prohibit parking at all times <br />on East Park Industrial Drive for a distance of 30 feet on both sides of the entrance of <br />1011 East Industrial Park Drive and on Bartmer Industrial Ave for a distance of 30 feet <br />on both sides of the driveway property of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive; containing a <br /> <br />saving clause and providing a penalty.. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote: <br />Ayes: Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, and <br /> Mayor Adams. <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Bill 8971 passed and became ordinance 6724. <br /> <br /> <br />5.
