Session 1869 <br />February 24, 2003 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: <br /> <br />Resolution for Refund of Sewer Lateral Repair Fees to certain Condominium <br />owners was considered. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner sponsored and Ms. Colquitt co-sponsored the resolution. Mr. <br />Lieberman seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner suggested applications for those interested in a refund of fees. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams replied that the resolution applied only to condo owners who paid <br />property taxes as of December, 2002. The suggestion for an application process <br />should be held for future consideration. <br /> <br />The Mayor called for the vote. The motion was carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 1 -CONSENT CALENDAR: <br /> <br />The Acting City Manager, Willie Norfleet, recommended that the Council adopt <br />the Consent Calendar, which consisted of: <br /> <br />I - Baseline Fitness Expansion Architect- Confirmation of a contract for <br />architectural services was required; it will finalize detailed plans for the baseline <br />fitness center phase one expansion within the existing facility. A standard form <br />of agreement between the City and DiFate Group would result in completion of <br />the first step of the expansion by January, 2004. A major share of the cost will <br />come from a St. Louis County Park Grant Board contribution. <br /> <br />2 - Three Leaf Vacuum Machines- Mr. Norfleet stated that bids for three leaf <br />loaders received for the Street Division. The Iow and only bidder was: <br /> <br />Bid Price Trade-in Total Bid <br /> <br />Key Equipment (Bid #1 ) $11,493.33 $4,000.00 $30,479.99 <br /> <br />He recommended awarding this purchase to Key Equipment for their Iow bid of <br />$30,479.99 and it was within budget estimates. <br /> <br />3 - Fifteen 2003 Impalas-Police Vehicles- Invitations to Bid for the purchase of <br />new police vehicles were sent to six auto dealers with the following responses: <br /> <br /> Company Cost Trade-in (15 Vehicles) Total <br /> <br /> Auffenberg Chevrolet $272,610 $75,700 $196,910 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
