Session 1899
October 20, 2003

Mayor Adams responded that Mr. Ollendorff has the list and that one of the new park
director's responsibilities will be to review the fees issue and to report back to the
Council. Mr. Ollendorff said that typically the Council does review fees in the fall, but
the Parks Commission and the new parks director could do this over the next few
months so they could be considered in conjunction with the City Budget, instead of
doing it separately. Ms. Colquitt advised the Parks Commission has looked at fees for
the recreation center, particularly summer playgrounds, and that they did raise some of
them to accommodate this year, but they will look at them again.

Mr. Munkel moved to approve, Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion, and it was passed.
AYES- six, NAYS-1. Ms. Welsch voted against the measure.

AGENDA ITEM #3 (Pulled from the Consent Calendar- CITY COUNCIL MEETING

SCHEDULE:

Mr. Ollendorff recommended changing the meeting schedule for September 13, 2004,
by moving it back to September 7, 2004. This is the Tuesday after Labor Day and
avoids the conflict with the Missouri Municipal League conference.

Mayor Adams preferred to depend on the meeting on the 13th or to call a meeting, if
needed. Having a meeting on a Tuesday following the Labor Day holiday could cause
some problems. Mr. Wagner supported the Mayor's suggestion.

Mr. Sharpe moved to delete this meeting and call one, if necessary. Mr. Munkel
seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

AGENDA ITEM #4 (Pulled from the Consent Calendar) - ALLEY REHAB: SOUTH OF
JULIAN AVENUE:

Bids for the above named projects are as follows:

R.V.
