Session 1901 <br />November 17, 2003 <br /> <br />BE LOCATED IN HEMAN PARK AND REFUNDING CERTAIN OUTSTANDING <br />LEASE OBLIGATIONS OF THE CITY; AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING <br />CERTAIN DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE <br />CERTIFICATES; AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OTHER ACTIONS IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE CERTIFICATES. <br /> <br />The bill was read for the second time. <br />The bill was read for the third time. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman inquired into the difference in the bond amount in the introduced <br />title and the new amount in the revised bills on the Council desks. <br /> <br />Bob Ballsrud, the city's bond attorney with Gilmore and Bell, stated that the <br />interest rate proposals were not due to open until this morning. The initial <br />amount that the Council approved was an estimate only. The new interest rates <br />that were awarded to the Iow bidder were significantly lower and resulted in a <br />much lower bond amount of $6,345,000. Mr. Ollendorff confirmed this <br />information. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval and Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Sharpe, and Mayor Adams. NAYS: - none. Bill Number 8696 passed with five <br />votes and became Ordinance Number 6464. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8697 - APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF <br />LAND TO BE KNOWN AS "CENTRAL SUBURBS CONDOMINIUM" AND <br />LOCATED AT 7825 DELMAR. <br /> <br />The bill was read for the second time. <br />The bill was read for the third time. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval and Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion.
