Bill 8999 – An ordinance amending Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to regulations for specific streets, by repealing Section 10.36.030 <br />thereof, relating to designating one-way street traffic, and enacting in lieu thereof a <br />new section to be known as “Section 10.36.030 one-way streets designated,” <br />thereby amending said section so as designation of Lindell Boulevard to be one- <br />way street westbound from Asbury Ave to a point 120 feet north of north curb line <br />of Forsyth Blvd only; containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. <br /> <br />Introduced by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br />10. Bill 9000 – An ordinance amending Chapter 10.48 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to parking meters, by repealing Section 10.48.3 thereof, relating to <br />parking meter zones – designated, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be <br />known as “Section 10.48.30 parking meter zones – designated,” thereby amending <br />said section so as to Zone B to include specific portions of Forsyth Boulevard and <br />the parking lot located at the north-west corner of Lindell Blvd. and Forsyth Blvd; <br />containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. <br /> <br />Introduced by Mr. Glickert <br />11. BILL 9001 – An ordinance amending Chapter 8.12 of the University City Municipal <br />Code relating to solid waste management fees. <br /> <br />12. BILL 9002 – Mr. Glickert moved to defeat Bill 9002 on imposing an additional one- <br />fourth of one percent sales tax on all retail sales for economic development <br />purposes. It was seconded by Mr. Crow and its defeat was unanimous. <br /> <br />13. BILL 9003 and BILL 9004 - The Council unanimously agreed to remove these bills <br />before their first reading. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />Resolution 2008 – 8 – a resolution approving the Fiscal Year 2008 – 2009 budget <br />was introduced by Mr. Price and second by Mr. Crow.
