L. NEW BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />1. Resolution 2008 – 10 – a resolution for University Heights Number One <br />Neighborhood Improvement District <br />Ms. Ricci, in behalf of Mr. Glickert moved that this resolution be postponed, as <br />there were still negotiations taking place. <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. stated that the residents have been meeting in the back and <br />have resolved any issues they had. <br />Ms. Ricci removed her motion to postpone as an agreement had been reached. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Rhonda O’Brien was the legal representative for the trustees of the subdivision. She <br />said there had been an agreement reached to reduce the assessment of the <br />dissenting property owners on Delmar to twenty-five percent. Ms. O’Brien said this <br />difference would amount to $22,300 and would be spread around to interior <br />residents. She said an amendment would have to be made to correct the new <br />assessment amounts listed in Exhibit B. The change to twenty-five percent would <br />be to all properties on Delmar. <br />Mr. Mark Rudder, 6951 Delmar <br />Mr. Rudder was speaking on behalf of residents at 6925, 6939, 6951, 6955 and <br />6965 Delmar. He said that these property owners have agreed to the twenty-five <br />percent assessment. <br />Ms. Ricci moved to amend Exhibit B to reflect the new assessed value of twenty-five <br />percent for the eight properties located on Delmar and the difference be recalculate <br />and prorated among the remaining residents of University Heights Number One. <br />Ms. Ricci’s motion to amend was seconded by Mr. Wagner. Resolution 2008 – 10 <br />as amended was approved unanimously. <br />2. RFP for Consultant to Evaluate the Maintenance Garage initiated by the <br />Council <br />Mr. Wagner stated that he and Mr. Glickert worked together to present to <br />Council with a Request For Proposal (RFP) for approval to move forward with <br />it. The RFP was for the purpose of the Council hiring a consultant to advise the <br />City Council on University City’s maintenance procedures, consisting of a large <br />fleet of vehicles and equipment. Mr. Wagner stated that Ms. Ricci and the City <br />Manager have reviewed the final marked-up RFP and the City Manager had <br />two points she requested to amend. The first dealt with the contact person, <br />changing from the City Clerk to the City Manager’s office and the second the <br />City Manager requested to revert back to the original insurance requirement in <br />the first draft sent. (Paragraph 22) The City Manager Ms. Feier said she would <br />need to also update the equipment list. Ms. Feier said that she would be the <br />contact person for the RFP but would refer all submittals to the Public Works <br />Director. <br /> <br />
