Municipal Code, relating to offenses against public peace and decency, <br />by enacting therein a new section to be known as “Section 9.08.045 <br />panhandling”; containing a savings clause and providing a penalty <br />Introduced by Mr. Glickert <br />3. BILL 9011 - An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, by <br />repealing Section 10.44.040 thereof, relating to one-hour parking zones, <br />and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section <br />10.44.040 one-hour parking zones,” thereby amending said section so as <br />to restrict to a one-hour parking zone from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., <br />Monday thru Saturday starting in a point 580 feet from Coolidge Drive for <br />a distance of 175 feet to the west thereof, containing a saving clause and <br />providing a penalty. <br />Introduced by Mr. Glickert <br />4. BILL 9012 - An ordinance amending Chapter 10.36 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to regulations for specific streets, by repealing <br />Section 10.36.090 thereof, relating to stop intersections – vehicles to stop <br />at certain intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be <br />known as “Section 10.36.090 stop intersections – vehicles to stop at <br />certain intersections” thereby amending said section so as for traffic to <br />stop at intersection of Purcell Ave and Julian Ave; containing a saving <br />clause and providing a penalty. <br />Introduced by Mr. Wagner <br />5. BILL 9013 - An ordinance amending Chapter 10.40 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to stopping, standing and parking generally, by <br />repealing Section 10.40.020 thereof, relating to stopping, standing and <br />parking prohibited in specified places—exceptions, and enacting in lieu <br />thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.40.020 thereof, relating <br />to stopping, standing and parking prohibited in specified places— <br />exceptions,” thereby amending said section so as to prohibit parking at all <br />times for golf course customers, on the south side of Groby Rd. thereof <br />from the east line of Old Bonhomme Rd to the west line of Tulane Ave; <br />containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />K. CITIZENS’ COMMENTS <br />Stephen Kraft, 7275 Creveling Dr. <br />Mr. Kraft said that this was an annual complaint. He did not see why the City is <br />wasting money on sucking up leaves that are not there. <br />Barbara Sartori, 6824 Plymouth <br />Ms. Glickert spoke for Barbara Sartori, as she had to leave. Ms. Sartori felt the <br />meeting concerning dumpsters versus roll out carts was handled poorly.
