<br /> <br />J. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. BILL 9009 - An ordinance amending Chapter 9.20 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to offenses by or against minors, by repealing <br />Section 9.20.020 thereof, relating to curfew, and by repealing Section <br />9.20.030 thereof, relating to unlawful for parent, guardian or other adult to <br />permit curfew violation, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections to be <br />known as “Section 9.20.020 curfew”, and “Section 9.20.030 unlawful for <br />parent, guardian or other adult, to permit violation”, thereby amending <br />said sections so as to change the curfew time to between the hours of ten <br />p.m. and six a.m. on all days; containing a savings clause and providing <br />penalty. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams stated that the Council has asked that this bill be <br />postponed until additional information is obtained. Mr. Price moved to <br />postpone the bill, second by Mr. Wagner and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />2. BILL 9010 - An ordinance amending Chapter 9.08 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to offenses against public peace and decency, <br />by enacting therein a new section to be known as “Section 9.08.045 <br />panhandling”; containing a savings clause and providing a penalty <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., <br />and Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none <br />Bill 9010 became Ordinance 6759 <br /> <br />3. BILL 9011 - An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, by <br />repealing Section 10.44.040 thereof, relating to one-hour parking zones, <br />and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section <br />10.44.040 one-hour parking zones,” thereby amending said section so as <br />to restrict to a one-hour parking zone from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., <br />Monday thru Saturday starting in a point 580 feet from Coolidge Drive for <br />a distance of 175 feet to the west thereof, containing a saving clause and <br />providing a penalty. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Price <br />Roll Call Vote <br />AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci <br />and Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none <br />Bill 9011 became Ordinance 6760 <br /> <br />4.
