CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City’s copier leasing contract approval for third year extension in the third year <br />extension of its contract for $40,689. <br />2. Prefabricated restroom building for Heman Park for award to low bidder, CXT <br />Building for $73,870. <br />3. Site study for transfer station, parking, office and storage areas and preliminary <br />design. The City recommended Bond Wolfe, for $106,760. <br />4. Annual Unleaded Fuel products was recommended to go to the low bidder, <br />Energy Petroleum, for $362,354.43. The city was still obtaining bids on different <br />grades of biodiesel fuel. <br />5. Annual Salt contract was recommended to go to the coop price received by the <br />City of Chesterfield for an estimated price of $49,068. <br />6. Replacement of the Wheel Loader was recommended to go to the low bidder, <br />Erb Equipment for $103,000. <br />7. Replacement of Chipper for grinding tree limbs, mulch and leaves was <br />recommended to go to the low bidder, Luby Equipment for $55,156. <br />8. Storage Access Network device for the data center was recommended to go to <br />the low bidder, Server Centric Consulting for $30,390. <br /> <br />The consent agenda was recommended for approval by Mr. Wagner, seconded by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr. and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. LEED’s award <br />Ms. Feier stated that the City Hall building in University City is the only Municipal <br />Building in the St. Louis region that has received the LEED’s certification by the <br />U.S. Supreme Building Council. LEED (Leadership in Energy Environmental <br />Design) is awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council, a non-profit membership <br />organization. <br /> <br />The Director of Community Development introduced Mr. Bill Chilton from Trivers <br />Associates and Bruce Levitt from William Tao who were instrumental in working <br />with University City when the certification occurred. Mayor Adams accepted for <br />the City of University City a plaque to be hung in the lobby, recognizing City Hall <br />to be a LEED certified building. <br /> <br />
