The program will be held at 3:30 PM at University <br />City High School Auditorium, 7401 Balson. Enjoy performances featuring University <br />City students and presentation of the MLK Spirit Award. In case of inclement weather, <br />the celebration will be rescheduled for January 25. Speakers include Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton and Professor Camille Nelson. <br />There will also be special guest performances by Afriky Lolo, West African Dance <br />Group, U. As always, the public is welcome. <br />Book Pantry <br />As part of the National Day of Service, a University City "" there will be a <br />book drive on January 19. The campaign hopes to gather enough books to give to one <br />U-City Campaign for <br />to every child in the University City Schools. Volunteers from the <br />Change <br /> are collecting new or gently used books for children pre-K and up for <br />th <br />distribution at school. The drop off sites will collect books prior to the 19 at 7001 <br />Washington and 8233 Tulane.
