Session 1914 <br />March 15, 2004 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended awarding the order to Reis Emergency Products for their <br />Iow bid of $26,756.75 <br /> <br />Fire Turn-Out Gear <br /> <br />Quotations have been received to provide 9 sets of turnout coats and pants for the Fire <br />Department. $12,000 was set aside in the budget, four companies were invited to bid. <br />The quote follows: <br /> <br />*Battalion Three ............................... $11,529.00 <br /> <br />*female Business Enterprise <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended that the bid be awarded to Battalion Three for the price of <br />$11,529.00. <br /> <br />Fire Department Charitable Solicitation <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended approval for the annual fire Department "fill the <br />Helmet Day" at 6920 Olive Boulevard Schnucks on May 1 and 2. All proceeds go to the <br />Burn Recovered Support Group. <br /> <br />Police Car Purchase <br /> <br />Invitation for bids was issued for purchasing one new Impala for the Police Department. <br />The following responses were received: <br /> <br />Company Price <br />Don Brown Chevrolet ................................... $17,084.00 <br />Jim Butler Chevrolet .................................... $17,051.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended purchasing this vehicle from Jim Butler Chevrolet. <br /> <br />City Hall Generator <br /> <br />Invitations for bids were issued for the purchase and installation of a commercial <br />generator for City Hall. $25,000 was budgeted for this purchase. Four companies were <br />invited to respond.
