Session 1914 March 15, 2004 Mr. Wagner made a motion for a resolution on this matter to read as follows: Whereas the Clayton School District is considering the significant enhancement of Gay Field, including increasing the parking, addition night lightings and a public address system, be it resolved, therefore, that the City Council of University City respectfully requests the City of Clayton and the Clayton School District to consider and respond to the concerns of the Clayton, Ladue and University City neighborhood petitions opposing the announced plans. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS BILL 8709 - VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY BEHIND 7831-7853 OLIVE BOULEVARD, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. (Held over from 02/23/04) The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Ms. Colquitt moved approval and Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none. Bill Number 8709 passed and became Ordinance Number 6477. BILL 8710 - LEVYING AND IMPOSING ANNUALLY FOR THE REPAIR OF LATERAL SEWER LINES ON OR CONNECTING RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY HAVING SIX OR LESS DWELLING UNITS A FEE OF FIFTY DOLLARS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6212; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Mayor Adams said that this bill conforms with the vote of the citizens of University City. Ms. Welsch moved to adopt and Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call vote was taken and was as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Ms. Colquitt and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none.
