Session 1914 <br />March 15, 2004 <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner made a motion for a resolution on this matter to read as follows: <br /> <br />Whereas the Clayton School District is considering the significant enhancement of Gay <br />Field, including increasing the parking, addition night lightings and a public address <br />system, be it resolved, therefore, that the City Council of University City respectfully <br />requests the City of Clayton and the Clayton School District to consider and respond to <br />the concerns of the Clayton, Ladue and University City neighborhood petitions opposing <br />the announced plans. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS <br /> <br />BILL 8709 - VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />BEHIND 7831-7853 OLIVE BOULEVARD, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC <br />UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE <br />RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS <br />COUNTY, MISSOURI. (Held over from 02/23/04) <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved approval and Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. <br />Lieberman, Ms. Welsch and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none. Bill Number 8709 <br />passed and became Ordinance Number 6477. <br /> <br />BILL 8710 - LEVYING AND IMPOSING ANNUALLY FOR THE REPAIR OF <br />LATERAL SEWER LINES ON OR CONNECTING RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY <br />HAVING SIX OR LESS DWELLING UNITS A FEE OF FIFTY DOLLARS, AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6212; CONTAINING A SAVINGS <br />CLAUSE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that this bill conforms with the vote of the citizens of <br />University City. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved to adopt and Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was taken and was as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. <br />Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Ms. Colquitt and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none.
