Mr. Ware seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Ware, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, <br />Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill No. 8369 became Ordinance No. <br />6151. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8370 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING <br />TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC BY ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION <br />TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-175. THROUGH TRUCK TRAFFIC PROHIBITED <br />ON CERTAIN STREETS;" AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Ware moved adoption. Bill No. 8370 became Ordinance No. 6152. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8371 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING <br />TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTIONS -- <br />VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS," BY AMENDING SAID <br />SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF <br />CANTON AND LAUGHLIN AVENUES AND WASHINGTON AND TRINITY AVENUES; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption. Mr. Ware seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Jerry Koczan, 6906 Washington Ave., was upset that this bill was introduced <br />without his subdivision association being notified. It was his understanding that this <br />went before the Traffic Commission and was voted on without the trustee's knowledge. <br />He feels that this should not be adopted until more of the residents can be informed of <br />this issue. He had received some information that if a stop sign was put at Washington <br /> <br /> <br />
