Session 1929
July 12, 2004

Ms. Brot asked what is currently at this site, and was advised it is an empty lot. Mr.
Wagner asked about off-street and street parking spaces and Mr. Clear said there are
49 spaces allotted, with 75 percent under the building and the remainder next to the
building. Ms. Brot asked what economic level it would be and if it was less than two
thousand dollars a resident. Richard Sorkin, 8333 Gannon Avenue, advised they are
for sale as condominiums and not rental properties. Ms. Brot asked if there would be
mixed use and was advised no. Her query was to determine if the property is "high end"
or "middle income." Mr. Sorkin said his company saw it as "middle, in the two hundred
thousand range." Ms. Brungardt asked about Salmon's "history" and was advised this
company has been in business since 1985, building single family homes, condominiums
in Clayton and developments in Dogtown and some in the Gaslight Square area, etc.
She wanted to know how the property would be managed, and was advised that the
decision will be up to the owners, but by-laws will be prepared in advance. Ms. Brot
asked if the architecture will blend with that of the neighborhood and was told it will. Ms.
Brungardt asked if it had a flat roof and was told it does because it is in keeping with the
surroundings.

Mr. Sharpe move adoption, Mr. Wagner seconded, and the motion passed
unanimously.

(Mayor Adams attempted to dial Ms. Welsch)
A.qenda Item #7 - University Park Improvements

The tabulation of bid proposals for the above named project is as follows:

COMPANY PRICE
1.
