Session 1718, Minutes
March 30, 1998

did receive this letter, but the statement he was concerned about probably was a
reinforcement effort.

Mr. Schoomer moved to table this item until the April 13th Council meeting at the
request of the applicant. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

ADDED ITEM TO THE AGENDA - DEMOLITION BIDS - 6649 BARTMER:

Mr. Sharpe made a motion to add an item to the agenda. Mr. Munkel seconded the
motion, which carried unanimously.

Mr. Ollendorff said that bids were received February 11, 1998 for demolition of 6649
Bartmer as follows:

Aalco Wrecking Co. Inc.

Ahems Contracting, Inc.
Coryera Abatement

$8,870; add $500 to seed and straw
(optional)
$8,900
$5,865; add $345 to seed and straw
(optional)

Mr. Ollendorff recommends awarding the contract to Corvera for $6,120. Time has run
out for the owner to do this work so the City will do the work and place a lien on the
property. The work will take approximately one month to complete.

Mr. Sharpe moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously.

COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM #3:

Mr. Lieberman wanted to point out that the Plan Commission did review a memo that
was received from Shu Simon, the city attorney for zoning issues. She reviewed the
conditions under the conditional use permit and she has reworded and clarified a
number of those conditions. This was in memo form to the Council, dated March 21st.
The Plan Commission did not offer any comment on these conditions, only to pass
them on to the Council. Her memo should be reviewed as Council reviews the
conditional use.
