Session 1935
September 27, 2004

would be lost on the south side and was told parking is all ready restricted adequately
as far as the County is concerned. Ms. Brot asked if this would be restricted at all times
even though MOMO had just opened and she asked why. Mayor Adams said it is a
very dangerous area. Mr. Ollendorff said Delmar Boulevard would be striped to provide
a parking lane where it is permitted and that can only be done where there is room to
have a parking lane. To avoid confusion, they want the area where there is no room for
a parking lane to say "no parking." If there is no stripe, there is confusion about parking.

The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe,
Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none.

Mr. Ollendorff added that there is still discussion with the County over this same issue
over the area east of Hanley Road. The problem there is that the County wants to
delete a few parking spaces that the City does not want to delete. Ms. Brot asked why
the City does not want to delete these parking spaces and Mr. Ollendorff said he would
provide the details later; at the moment the only area where the City has agreed with
the County is on the west side. Mr. Wagner added that the businesses depend upon
nearby parking.

Bill Number 8735 was passed and became Ordinance 6507.

BILL NUMBER 8736 - AMENDING CHAPTER 2.68 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO MISCELLANEOUS ADMINISTRATIVE
PROVISIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION 2.68.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO
FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 2.68.020 FEES
FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE," THEREBY AMEDNING SAID
SECTION SO AS TO INCREASE THE FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE
SERVICE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.

The Bill was given its second reading.
The Bill was given its third reading

Ms. Welsch moved
follows: AYES: Ms.
Wagner and Mayor
Ordinance Number

adoption and Mr. Wagner seconded.
