Session 1938 <br />November 1,2004 <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended awarding the purchase to Butler Chevrolet for their <br />Iow bid of $24,341.00. <br /> <br />2005 Chevrolet Police Vehicle <br /> <br />Bids were received for the purchase of a 2005 Chevrolet Impala for the Police <br />Department. Invitations to Bid were sent to six dealers. The results follow: <br /> <br />Unit Price Trade In Total <br /> <br />Jim Butler Chevrolet ...................... $16,848.00 ($9,000) $7,848.00 <br />Don Brown Chevrolet ................... $16,184.00 ($6,406) $9,778.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended awarding the purchase to Jim Butler Chevrolet for their Iow <br />bid of $7,848.00. <br /> <br />Picnic Wine License - 6901 Delmar Blvd. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff also recommended approval of a license to sell wine and champagne at <br />Bais Abraham on November 7, 2004. This is a responsible organization fully capable of <br />meeting all legal requirements regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages at a special <br />event. <br /> <br />2005 City Council Meetinq Schedule <br /> <br />Members of City Council have indicated that the City Council meeting schedule be <br />amended by adding May 18 as an alternate budget study meeting date. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved approval and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Sharpe reminded others that meetings will commence at 6:30 P.M. <br />starting in January 2005. <br /> <br />Public Hearinq - Planned Development Zoninq Requirements <br /> <br />A public hearing has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in these Council Chambers to hear <br />comments on the recommended amendments to the zoning ordinance which would <br />change the density and common open space requirements in the zoning ordinance for <br />PD Planned Development District. The proposed changes will permit greater flexibility <br />in both mixed and single use planned development district projects thereby encouraging <br />innovative planning. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams declared the Public Hearing open at 7:40 P.M, and since there were no <br />requests to speak, he declared the Public Hearing closed at 7:40 P.M. <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
