He said that practically all <br />the curbing is beyond repair and about 90% of the curb will be replaced ~a~ <br />the work on the street progresses. 'He said they intend to go as far west <br /> OO,~ or <br />of Asbury as the money will hold. I!r. Rede explained that only about ~' <br />60% of the job will be completed of the total ~orthmoor Drive requirement. <br /> <br />Councilman ~rner moved that the recommendation of the administrative forces <br />be approved and that contract be awarded to Tribco Concrete Construction, <br />Inc., in the amount of $21,642.00, this being the l~est and best bid. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Grimm and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />BIDS - CONCRETE Ai~D OTI~ ROAD i.~TERIALS: <br />City ~nager Henry reviewed bids which had been received for the furnishing <br />of its ready mixed concrete, cement, marking lime, and sand needs for the <br />fiscal year beginning July 1, 1975. Breckenridge ~terial was the only <br />bidder. A comparison of last year's prices and this year's bid indicated <br />that the price increase was not excessive. <br /> <br />Councilman Werner moved that the contract be awarded to Breckenridge ~terial <br />on the basis set forth in agenda item No. 3 (as per copy attached to these <br />~inutes). Motion was seconded by Councilman Lieberman and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />BIDS - TRAP ROCK: <br />~%e City ~lanager discussed bids which had been received for the furnishing <br />of 300 tons of 1/4 inch trap rock for the year ending June 30, 1976. It was <br />recommended by the administrative forces that the contract be awarded to <br />Black Trap Rock ~terials in the amount of $ 9.60 per ton, total: $2,880.00. <br /> <br />Councilman Werner moved that the recommendation of the administrative forces <br />be approved, and that contract be awarded to Black Trap Rock in the amount <br />of $2:880.00, total, delivered, ifotion was seconded by Councilman Lieberman <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />BIDS - G?~VEL: <br />Bids which had been received for the furnishing of 1,500 tons of torpedo <br />gravel for the 1975-76 fiscal year were reviewed by the City I~nager.
