He said he understands that representatives of I~est Portland Place Association plan to attend the Council meeting on July 22nd to make a presentation. He asked that the attorneys, or anyone else involved with that shopping center, be invited to attend the meeting. Councilman Woods suggested that other estab- lishments also be notified, and after some discussion it was agreed that a letter be sent to all licensees (liquor). MISCELLANEOUS, Continued: SCHEDULE OF CO~CIL P~ETINGS FOR AUGUST AND PROPOSED AMEI'~MENTS TO ZONING CODE: Councilman Uerner called attention to various proposed amendments to the Zoning Code, which had been discussed by the Council, and it had been sug- gested at the time that a public hearing be held, but nothing further was done. He said that the Council had promised Mr. Magidson that a hearing would be held. After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Weissenburger, seconded by Councilman Werner and unanimously carried that the Council schedule a meeting (for the month of August) on August 12, 1974. Councilman %~rner then moved that a public hearing be held at 8:00 P.M., August 12, 1974, to consider various proposed changes to the Zoning Code. Motion seconded by Councilman Ueissenburger and unanimously carried.
