Councilman Bam-
burg said he would like the matter held over until the next meeting for the
Council to discuss at that time.

Councilman Woods said she would agree with Councilman Lieberman that air
conditioning the Community Center is important, but she understands that
the City couldn't get enough revenue from the use of it to actually pay for
the cost of it; however, it is an existing facility which can't be fully
used for a large period of time because it isn't air conditioned, and
therefore, she would see that it would make sense to make the building as
useable as possible. Councilman Woods said she thinks the Council ought to
therefore include the air conditioning.

Mayor Kaufman observed that from reports received nationally, it will be
found that juvenile problems are prevalent in every community and in his
opinion an Ice Skating Rink would be a nice thing for the juveniles. He
added it may, to a great extent, reduce juvenile problems within a com-
munity. The ~.~yor inquired as to the pleasure of the Council, and pointed
out there is a request that this matter be postponed until the next meeting.

Councilman Epstein withdrew her motion in deference to Councilman Bamburg's
request and Councilman Grimm accordingly withdrew his second.
