Study Session 1944
January 10, 2005

Council will be looking at this issue and that they will not need to deal with it at their
upcoming meeting, but in the next one. Mr. Ollendorff suggested that the clearest way
to accomplish this is to ask them to hold the matter over until their February meeting. He
wants to be very clear with the Plan Commission about what the Council wants. Mr.
Wagner pointed out that the matter is contingent upon establishing a study session, and
since they are difficult to set up, he would rather advise them to "hold it until further
notice." Mr. Ollendorff said this phrase will be passed on to the Plan Commission.

Ms. Brot asked if the matter could be added to the January 29, 2005 Study Session?
Mayor Adams said it could be considered. A discussion ensued regarding some
confusion about a scheduled study session on January 29th. Then Ms. Brot asked if
there could be a study session held on alternate Mondays each month? Mayor Adams
suggested creating a matrix to establish availability for scheduling other meetings. He
indicated that it has been extremely difficult to find a time to meet during the month of
January. Ms. Brot reiterated that she preferred setting a date to meet on a regular basis.
Mr. Ollendorff said some alternative dates would be circulated. Ms. Welsch said she
could attend on "the 29th''. Ms. Colquitt said to remember that some Councilmembers
are employed full time when setting dates for meetings.

BILL FOR THIRD READING

BILL NO 8740 -AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING
TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.150,
RELATIING TO LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES
OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW
SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 10.36.150 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON
CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY
AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT LEFT TURNS BY NORTHBOUND
VEHICLES ON THE EAST LEG OF TRINITY AVE. AT DELMAR BLVD BETWEEN THE
HOURS OF 7:00 A.M. AND 9:00 A.M. AND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.
AND 6:00 P.M. (Held over from
10/11/04, 11/01/04, 11/15/04, 12/06/04)

Mayor Adams said that Mr. Wagner has requested that this Bill be held over again. Mr.
Wagner said that was correct.

BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING:

1.
