He said this 7,600 <br />square foot officejmanufacturin;J facility, which canpletes the final phase of <br />the OlivejSkinker Business Park, will be a good addition to the City's busi- <br />ness connnunity. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved approval as recommerrled, with Mrs. Thompson seconding the m0- <br />tion. All voted Aye. <br /> <br />OONDITIONAL USE - 6403 CUMENS <br /> <br />The City Manager agreed with the Plan Commission's reconunendation to pennit <br />the All Saints School basement to be used ten weeks a year to interview em- <br />ployees who will deliver telephone books, subject to the followin;J conditions <br />that are intended to avoid settin;J an officejconunercial use precedent in this <br />neighborhood: <br /> <br />1. No part of the building or parking lot shall be used for the storage or <br />distribution of telephone books. <br />2. Parking lot screening shall be installed per UCZC Section 34-50.3 (e) . <br />3. Parking lot shall have perimeter wheel bu:npers per UCZC Section 34-50.3 <br />(d) . <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval, l:lut exceptin;J Condition #2, since he felt the <br />need for securit~r in this area allows waiver of this condition. Mr. Adams <br />seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman noted that wheel stops were in place along the Clemens Avenue <br />sidewalk next to the parking lot, and she asked for further explanation of <br />Condition #3. Mr. Al Goldman, Director of Plannin;J, said same of the wheel <br />stops were missing on the east side of the parking lot and should be replaced. <br /> <br />Mrs. Thampson felt the prohibition against telephone books should be clari- <br />fied, and Mayor Majerus sugges.ted that the phrase "or other merchandi.se in- <br />tended for distribution" be add.ed to Condition #1. All agreed. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanilnously. <br /> <br /><X>NDITIONAL USE - 7350 FORSYTH <br /> <br />The City Manager said the applicant has requested that this item be postponed <br />until the next meeting since he felt he needed additional time to resporrl to <br />the City Manager's reconunendation that the proposed pizza restaurant at this <br />location not be approved. <br /> <br />Ms. Andrea Ratner, 7336 Nortlunoor, said she wished to speak in opposition to <br />the restaurant. Although a member of the Plan Commission, she abstained from <br />votin;J on this proposal becau...c::e the location is so close to her home. She <br />said the parking is inadequate and requires usin;J the sidewalk to turn a car <br />around; Del-Lin (opposite the site) is extremely narrow and carmot acconuro- <br />
