All voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman felt the parking lot was somewhat difficult to firxi am suggest- <br />ed a small (not free-starxiing) directional sign that would show where to en- <br />ter. Mayor Majerus suggested the applicant talk with staff about this. <br /> <br />SITE PIAN - 1570 MENDF.T;T,/HOOSE ADDITION <br /> <br />The City Manager reconunended approval of a secorxi story addition to the home <br />at 1570 Merxlell as long as the addition is faced with brick matching the ex- <br />isting house. Although homes in the area are of similar one-story design, <br />the home's location on a cul-de-sac suggests it will not look out of place <br />with the surrourxiing property. <br /> <br />Mr. Price IrOVed approval including the corxiition that the addition is faced <br />with matching brick. Mrs. Schuman secorxied the motion, am all voted Aye. <br /> <br />ZONING AMENI:MENT IUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />The City Manager said there was to have been a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. <br />this date am place to consider a zoning cunerrlment to add "Nursing Homes" to <br />the listing of conclitional uses for "COnvalescent Homes"; however, it was not <br />advertised in a timely manner, am he asked that the hearing be held July 29. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman IrOVed that this public hearing be held July 29, 1991 at 7:30 <br />p.m. Mr. Wagner secorxied the motion, which carried unaniIrously. <br /> <br />IUBLIC HEARING - URBAN RENEWAL AMENI:MENT <br /> <br />The city Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this date <br />and. place to receive conunents on an cunerrlment to the Del.nar IDop Urtxm Renew- <br />al Plan ID R-55 that would allow vehicular access from Westgate north of Ver- <br />non. Approval is recornmerrled by the University City Redevelopment Authority <br />(UCRA) , with the concurrence of the Plan Commission. The applicant states <br />that a driveway is essential for the best layout of a plant addition. Mr. <br />Ollendorff reconunended denial of the plan cunerrlment since residential devel- <br />
