He said he was fully aware of am agreed to all corxlitions with the <br />exception of the closing time, which they would like exten::led by one hour on <br />both weekdays am weekerxls. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Wagner, Mr. Bell said this will be a cany-out restaurant, <br />am the bal:becuing will be done at his other restaurant in st. louis. <br /> <br />Mrs. 'lhompson said she did not agree with all the corxlitions am thought that <br />the bal:becue should be prepared on the premises, not elsewhere. <br /> <br />Ms. Monica stewart, 1066 Pennsylvania, said she lived near the proPOSed res- <br />taurant am was speakin:] for many of her neighbors who are opposed to this <br />business. 'll1.e neighbors believe the building is too small for the purpose, <br />the hours of operation are too long, it will be too noisy, am transporting <br />food is unsanitary. She said the work that has been done so far is of poor <br />quality am her neighbors were concerned that the building will continue to <br />be an eyesore. Mayor Majerus said the business will not operate until all <br />conditions are met am the work is done to the city's satisfaction, so neigh- <br />bors need not be concerned. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer said he had ext.rene resel:Vations about this site being used for <br />a restaurant because he felt adjacent residents might be bothered by traffic <br />entering and exitirq the property until late hours, since there is no barrier <br />of any kind between the lot and adjacent homes. He felt this was an excel- <br />lent proposal but he would like to see it in another location. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman also was concerned about traffic entering am exitirq Pennsylva- <br />nia, in addition to parking that may cx:x::ur on the north en::l of the lot. She <br />noted that the Plan Commission is not requiring a fence or additional land- <br />scaping at the northern end of the lot am she felt this may be a problem for <br />adjacent residents. <br />
