Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanilnously. <br /> <br />Mr. Ro~ Ellinger, 7340 Melrose, Musick Neighborllood Association president, <br />introduced Association members Don CUlberson, Don Wylan, and Dan Ensbach who <br />wished to thank the City for its careful monitoring of the Mercy High School <br />site to ensure that a high-quality development locates there. Mayor Majerus <br />suggested that neighborhood representatives might wish to attend the public <br />hearing on April 1st to voice their concerns. <br /> <br />SITE PIAN/LIQUOR LICENSE - 630 MCKNIGHr <br /> <br />'!he City Manager said the Walgreen Company submitted a site plan application <br />for the store at 630 McKnight, and approval was reconnnended with liquor sales <br />to be limited to the north 40 I by 100 I as shown in their plan on file with <br />the City Manager, and liquor sale hours limited to 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. He said <br />the company also applied to take over the package liquor license previously <br />held by Medicare-Glaser at this location. The applicant meets all City stan- <br />dards, and therefore, COUncil may wish to approve. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Servant, Managing Officer representing Walgreen IS, was asked by <br />Mr. Adams if arrangements had been made with other tenants in the shopping <br />center for regular cleanup of the parking lot. Mr. Servant said Walgreen IS <br />will assume the same responsibilities that Medicare-Glaser had. Mr. Adams <br />said he was concerned because of the often-littered condition of the parking <br />lot of the other University city Walgreen's store. Mr. Servant said he did <br />not know what arrangements had been nade, but he certainly wanted a clean en- <br />virornnent around the store. <br /> <br />In response to Mrs. Thompson, Mr. Servant said the other Walgreen's store in <br />University City will continue to operate.
