Parking shall be for staff only. If staff parking is provided, the park- <br />ing area pavement shall be repaired am striped. <br />2. '!he path of travel fran 7745 Olive to the children's entrarx::e at 7733 Ol- <br />ive shall be protected fran vehicular traffic by a fence or by bollards. <br />3. No part of the building shall be used or oc:x:upied by children during <br />Fhase II construction. <br /> <br />Fhase II <br /> <br />4. Signs on the premises shall confo:rm in all resPects with the provisions <br />of the University City Sign Code. <br />5. A detailed larrlscaping plan shall be sub:nitted to the Director of Plan- <br />ning for his review am awroval. I.arrlscaping shall be installed and <br />maintained in accordance with the approved plan. <br />6. '!he child day care use approved urrler this Pennit shall also be approved <br />and licensed by the state of Missouri Department of Family Services. Oc- <br />cupancy shall be te:rminated if City or state approval or licensing is <br />withdrawn for arrj reason. <br />7. allldren shall be delivered into am picked up fran inside the building <br />by an adult parent or guardian. <br />8. '!he number of staff members am teadlers shall be SPeCifically limited by <br />the parking provided. '!he arrount of on-site parking required is deter- <br />mined by the number of day care center staff or employees according to <br />Section 34-50.4a of the Zoning Code. <br />9. Any further enlargement or alteration in the use of the premises for day <br />care use must be approved by the City Council urrler a site Plan Review <br />Arrerxhnent before a building Pe:rmit may be issued for sudl enlargement or <br />alteration. <br /> <br />It was noted that accepting this site plan should include Council recognition <br />that this is a not-for-profit am potentially tax-exempt use. <br /> <br />Mr. Pat McCauley, 6309 Pershing, boal:d dlainnan of University City Ol.ildren's <br />Center, displayed a drawing shCMing hCM the new center will look. He said <br />the Center has been a good community citizen for years am those involved are <br />looking fo:rward to this expansion. <br /> <br />In response to Mrs. Schtnnan, Mr. Goldman said parking was limited to staff <br />only in Fhase I because there was not a good way to deliver dlildren from <br />that lot to the main building. <br /> <br />Mrs. '!hcmpson lOOVed awroval. Mr. Wagner secomed the notion, which carried <br />unanirrously. Mr. Schocmer said the university allldren' s Center is a womer- <br />ful asset to the City, having reached national stature with an enviable rec- <br />ord. <br />
