Session 1726, Minutes <br />June 29, 1998 <br /> <br />the estimated amount of $32,000 for fiscal year 1998-99. The service provided by BT <br />remains excellent. <br /> <br />¢¢14 ~ Demolition Bids- 1438 Waldron: Bids were received June 25, 1998 for the <br />emergency demolition of 1438 Waldron with the following results: <br /> <br />Aalco Wrecking Co., Inc. <br />McCoy & McCoy, Inc. <br /> <br />$7,820 <br />$8,OO2 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends that the bid from Aalco Wrecking Co., Inc. for $7,820 be <br />accepted. The house is in dangerous condition. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption of the consent calendar. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #2: SITE PLAN - 8612 OLIVE NOT-FOR-PROFIT RETAIL: <br /> <br />The applicant plans to open a retail resale shop at the southwest corner of McKnight <br />and Olive. Approval is recommended since all ordinance requirements are met. Since <br />the organization will be leasing rather than owning the premises it will remain on the tax <br />rolls despite being operated by a not-for-profit organization. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer asked the City Manager if there would be any outside displays at this <br />facility. Mr. Ollendorff does not believe it is permitted at this location. Mr. Schoomer <br />said that this was private property. Mr. Ollendorff said that the outdoor display of <br />merchandise is not permitted without a permit. <br /> <br />Mr. Sanford Willick, Director of Retail Sales - National Council of Jewish Women said <br />that, according to their lease, there is to be no outside display of merchandise. <br /> <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #3: DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE - 875 KINGSLAND: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved to table this item until the July 27 meeting. Mr. Wagner seconded <br />the motion. All voted Aye, except Mr. Schoomer who voted Nay. <br /> <br />AGENDA #4 - 7335-37 DELMAR CONDOMINIUM/SUBDIVISION: <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
