<br />Regular meeting <br />May 23, 2005 <br /> <br />who do not drive on the Sabbath or on major holidays. There should not be a major <br />problem. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt asked about the number of users and Mr. Zimbalist said he did not know, <br />but added that it is not a community synagogue, so the numbers will be students only. <br />A minimum of ten is required for a quorum to have services; so at least ten can be <br />expected. <br /> <br />The motion to approve carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item #5 - Site Plan - 1011 East Park Industrial Drive <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended approval of the site plan for an above ground walkway at <br />the Universal Sewing complex in the Cunningham Industrial Park, without conditions. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval and Ms. Welsch seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item #6 - Aqenda Site Plan 8400 Delmar <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended approval of a site plan for Schmeer's Cafe to build a <br />patio area for outdoor dining with the only condition being the return of this area to its <br />present use as a parking space and a planter area upon abandonment of this use. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved approval and Ms. Brot seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item #7 - Heman Tennis Courts Restrooms <br /> <br />Bids were received from five companies for the restroom at the Heman Park Tennis <br />Courts which is a portion of the complete tennis court renovation plan which is partially <br />funded by a grant. <br /> <br />The bids received and the estimated installation costs are as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Building Installation Total <br />CXT $90,750 $13,000 $103,750 <br />Modular Constructions $83,163 $20,000 $103,168 <br />Romtex $75,153 $58,750 $133,903 <br />Walcon $122,930 $25,000 $147,930 <br />The Public Restroom Company $145,777 $3,000 $148,777 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended accepting the Building bid of CXT for $90,750 because it is <br /> <br />Page 9 <br />
