Regular meeting June 27, 2005 th June 14, the new fire code was adopted, so we are now modifying this ordinance in accordance with the new fire code. The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8799. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Ms. Welsch moved adoption. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8799 passed and became Ordinance number 6569. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: 1. A bill was introduced by Ms. Welsch, entitled: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE PARKVIEW GARDENS SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE ADDITIONAL TAX ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 SHALL BE $.85 FOR RESIDENTIAL AND $.85 FOR COMMERCIAL PER ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) OF ASSESSED VALUATION. A bill was introduced by Ms. Colquitt, entitled: AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THE LEVY AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES TO BE COLLECTED IN THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 TO PROVIDE FOR GENERAL REVENUE, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY AND READING ROOM. A bill was introduced by Mr. Sharpe, entitled: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE UNIVERSITY CITY LOOP SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE ADDITIONAL TAX ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005- 2006 SHALL BE $.678 FOR RESIDENTIAL AND $.850 FOR COMMERCIAL PER ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) OF ASSESSED VALUATION.
