Enhanced Elected Officials procedures to foster environment conducive to <br />positive visionary <br /> Continue Council study sessions <br /> Have follow-ups and updates on the Strategic Goals <br />Mr. Price stated that prolonging the purchase of a Fire Pumper frees up $525,000, <br />the passing of an increase of the local sales tax increases revenue by $400,000, and <br />the savings of $104,000 by moving into an insurance pool should now leave the City <br />with a budget deficit of $271,000. Mr. Price stated that this leaves the City closer to <br />helping the people on Wilson Ave. He also suggested moving items as the Fire <br />Pumper and fleet vehicles are moved into a category for a bond issue. <br />Mr. Wagner thanked citizen speakers and felt that the Council could make some <br />motion toward the Wilson buy-out. He requested the City Manger to respond to the <br />Wilson Avenue residents to clarify the pros and the cons to end any confusion. Mr. <br />Wagner asked the City Manger to respond to items brought to Council through <br />citizen comments. Mr. Wagner stated that the City needs to track finances better <br />throughout the year in order not to spend more than earned. He would like quarterly <br />reports that summarize the status at the end of each quarter instead of having it all <br />at the end of the year. <br />Ms. Ricci thanked citizens for coming and will try to get answers to their questions. <br />She asked City Manager to address the issue of Ms. Adams speaking with the City <br />Attorney as our ordinance provides she has the right to speak with him according to <br />2.12.020 “City counselor – Duties generally. …..;advise the city council or any <br />committee or member thereof and the heads of all departments, and all other <br />officers and agencies of the city as to all legal questions affecting the city’s <br />interest;….” Ms. Ricci asked that the City Manager to see that Ms. Adams and/or <br /> <br />
