Session 1683, Minutes <br />November 18, 1996 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (#3). Four suppliers were invited to bid on the purchase of <br />five Scott Airpack 50s, 2.2 with featherweight air cylinders, with the following results: <br /> <br />Vallen Safety $8,034.25 <br /> <br />This item was budgeted at $10,000. Acceptance of Vallen Safety's bid was recommended. <br /> <br />Five Inch Fire Hose (#4). Invitations to bid on ten sections of five inch fire supply hose were sent to five <br />suppliers, with the following response: <br /> <br />Battalion Three <br />Leo Ellebracht (female owned) <br /> <br />$5,460 <br />$5,240 <br /> <br />This apparatus was budgeted at $5,400. The recommendation is to accept the low bid of $5,240 from <br />Leo Ellebracht. <br /> <br />Demolition Bids (#5).
