For the flash flood on September 14, 2008 Units #2603, 2611, 2614 and 2625 will be <br />honored for their quick and professional actions. Captain Wallace will also be awarded <br />the Silver Medal of Valor. Units # 2603, 2614, 2617, and 2625 will receive an award for <br />rescuing a child from the June 2, 2009 house fire at 6815 Plymouth. Capt. Schmitt and <br />Firefighters Chaves and Kampwerth will also be awarded the Silver Medal of Valor for <br />their outstanding efforts. Finally, Units #2614 and 2617 will receive a Citation Award for <br />their quick and professional actions on March 3, 2009 for the water rescue of an <br />individual trapped in a basement at Wells & Evergreen (Wellston). <br />Webster Groves Mayor Gerry Welch is the Chair of the St. Louis County Municipal <br />E911 Educational Committee <br />League. Mayor Welch notified the City that the <br />Educational Information Website is now up and running at www.PropE911.org. The <br />site has three informational videos that you can view by clicking the circular buttons with <br />the double arrows below each issue. The site also provides a full Question and Answer <br />document that you can access as well as a PowerPoint presentation.
