Mr. Ware seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: <br />Councilmembers Munkel, Wagner, Lieberman, Schoomer, Thompson, Ware, and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. 8290 became Ordinance No. 6072. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8291 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL FOR TAX ABATE- <br />MENT; AUTHORIZING A WRITTEN STATEMENT OF THE IMPACT OF TAX ABATEMENT <br />ON AFFECTED POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS; AND AUTHORIZING A WRITTEN NOTICE OF <br />THE HEARING TO AFFECTED POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS PURSUANT TO REQUIREMENTS <br />OF THE URBAN REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS LAW. <br />Bill No. 8291 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8291 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Bill No. 8291 became Ordinance No. 6073. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8292 - AMENDING CHAPTER 25 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO RETIREMENT <br />AND PENSIONS BY REPEALING SECTION 25-43 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 25-43. NORMAL SERVICE RETIREMENT." <br />A bill was introduced by Councilmember Wagner, entitled: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY RELATING TO RETIREMENT AND PENSIONS BY REPEALING SECTION <br />25-43, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECITON TO BE KNOWN AS ' SECTION <br />25-43. NORMAL SERVICE RETIREMENT." <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8292 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said this bill contains a pension adjustment for senior department directors. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8293 - GRANTING, SELLING, AND CONVEYING TO THE METROPOLITAN ST. <br />LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT A SUBTERRANEAN EASEMENT IN LOTS 28, 29, AND 30 OF <br />BLOCK 7 OF NORTH PARKVIEW SUBDIVISION AND PART OF BLOCK 3 OF ROSEDALE <br />SUBDIVISION. <br /> <br /> <br />
